PROGRESS IN MOTION
From the steam locomotives of the early 19th century to the high-speed Acela of today, US railways remain essential to economic expansion and innovation through connectivity. At Lightship we value this history and purpose, so we’ve decided to dedicate one week this year to riding the rails between ecosystems where our resources and network will offer the most meaningful support.
HOW DOES THE STARTUP TRAIN WORK, EXACTLY?
Each Startup Train railway journey will begin with a kick-off in the city of initial departure. We will be in (one) city per day, with founder office hours and an ecosystem meetup planned for each city during our stop. Join Lightship Foundation Founder & CEO, Candice Matthews Brackeen at one of the five cities on our inaugural route. Investors and founders from each city are welcome and encouraged to join us on our next leg, lending to the spirit of traditional socialization and connection embodied by the Startup Train.
